| - What a disappointment! We went last night, esp to hear Calvin Harris. We went early around 10:45pm. Great thing was no lines with pre-paid ticket. Once you got in the club, the guys that herded us like cattle everywhere looked miserable and acted as such. Music was just a club beat, no lyric music- ever! Just same beat over and over, boom boom boom. Song transition was terrible. It wasn't any different when they changed DJ's. Dance floor was extremely small in comparison to the large complex of levels and stairs. Bar tenders seem to be nice, drinks were $32 for a beer and gin-a-tonic, really? The allowed smoking on the dance floor and everywhere else, that was awful. Of course, large groups of women surrounded by sharks (men) just standing there watching. People would just drop there drinks, bottle of beer, cups and garbage on the floor. Others were throwing ice back and forth. About 2 hours into the evening, I asked about Calvin Harris. Staff said he wasn't suppose to show until after 2pm. We wanted to leave, take a break and come back. There wasn't any place to sit unless you got a private booth. Nope, if you leave, you can't return until after 2:00 or 2:30 (can't remember). We turned around, went back to the main Dance floor, which was now off limits due to how crowded it was. We tried to find another place to dance on the many levels. The crowd was so thick, it was almost impossible to move. We weren't allowed to go upstairs unless we had a booth. We pushed through the crowd for about an hour and finally gave up. Didn't even get to stay to hear Calvin Harris. We went over to a nearby lounge and had more fun. Omnia was a waste of time and money. I can't imagine any emergency in this place, scary. Never again, Omnia.
