| - This is my spot!! I have been coming here ever since I moved here in 2007 & lived in North Town. I live a little further away now, but it is definitely worth the drive every 2 weeks, for a funky fresh fade!
I tried one other barber shop before, that was coincidentally next door in the other little shopping, area across the street. They did a horrible job! So, I decided I would try T&C next time, as I had seen it in passing. The other shop didn't last much longer after I had made the switch, which is no surprise, I'm sure the competition from T&C was too much for them.
All the barber's here are masters of their craft. They probably have about 1,000 years experience between all of them!! Talk about old school ;) The guys in the shop are very friendly and do good work. They always greet you as you come in & as you leave. The shop is always clean & well maintained. They are definitely grateful to their customers & appreciate every ones business. The guys all have their loyal customers too, that come in specifically for their favorite barber. Myself included ;)
The barber I usually go to is, Efren. He is a professional in every sense of the word! He is a Maestro, if you will ;) He is pretty much the heart & soul of this shop. He is an entertaining & all around fun guy. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else or letting anyone else cut my hair but him. That, & I get a Military discount, so it's $15. Not bad, in my opinion ;)
Overall, this place is great! They cut every ones hair, from lil boy's to elderly ladies who prefer a shorter 'do :P They even hand out free lollipops if your good too! Nice place to come get your haircut in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. This place can really get packed too, but its hit or miss on when the best time to come in is. I usually have pretty good timing, however I have had to wait over an hour & even run some errands & come back. But, it is definitely worth the wait, for me & I would gladly do it anytime, for a quality haircut & great service. So, make sure you tip these guys well, because they deserve it ;)
P.S. It is cash only, however they do have an ATM inside the shop ;)
