rev:text	What the hell?!? It was a while ago...my first time. If you've been there, you know the feeling. Standing there in the bathroom, I couldn't help but stare. Most people couldn't care less or maybe not even notice. But there it was: a black roll sandwiched between the others. It takes balls (and a sense of humor) to put a roll of coarse sandpaper in the men's restroom. It was in that moment I realized Bread & Butter is my kind of place. However, a sense of humor doesn't go very far in the world of business. Luckily, this is the quintessential café, serving up a spate of good food and fantastelicious pastries. My very first dish was the turkey sandwich. Yeah, I played it safe, but let me tell you, this was no ordinary tasteless S---ay crap. Filled with a good amount of meat (dare I say juicy?) and some kind of mayo that just makes my mouth water, all sandwiched between this killer bread that was so yummy. Since that first visit, Bread & Butter is my first choice to grab a lunch or just to pick up some pastries and bread. Everything from meatloaf to braised short ribs to the green salad (more bacon please!) is worthy of consideration. So far I haven't met a dish (or pastry) I didn't like... ...speaking of which, the pastries broke da mout! Unfortunately, I can't recommend a single thing. Why not? Because I can't freaking choose! I always try to buy one, but end up with a box of three or four different items. My theory is: what the hell, try everything because your taste buds will thank you. But if you haven't tried this place yet, what the hell are you waiting for?!?
