| - A couple friends were in town and they were staying at the New Orleans. We were going to head to that other restaurant that serves mainly seafood, and I'm allergic. And the story gets written err typed from there...
No line, walked straight to the cashier, and in...that had to have been record time for a buffet line! Lunch was on my friend so I don't even know how much it came out to nor did I bother to read how much. Probably wasnt interested as I could forsee myself never coming back anyway.
There are buffets you may try and know...just know...once you have your plate in hand and start doing the slow zombie walk as your eyes wait for something from the warmers to jump out at you...and nothing doesn't. So you forcefully tell yourself, just get something. And I did...
Everything aside from salads because I swear you almost can't go wrong with salads unless the dressing is gross or the salads are wilted...and buffets never screw up on salads...regressing here, okay...everything I had was bland, boring, and dry. That was me trying a dish from every country they offered. I even had a simple rye grilled cheese sandwich or something like that...and THAT was bland, boring, and dry. What the?! Service was typical of a buffet one so no comment. As long as we got our drinks refilled without asking, good enough.
So before I make this long and repetitive, unless you get your food comped here, or you don't want to leave the casino...then by all means. However, if you are coming here from elsewhere looking to eat at a buffet, I won't say DONT...but uhh....you know there are a lot of good places to eat out here.
It is kid friendly (but if you don't want the smoke smell since you do have to go through the casino then not so kid friendly) and stroller friendly.
Enjoy!
