The wait time for this place is CRAY CRAY! My friends and I came by on a Friday late morning. Our wait til was about 20 minutes but it felt like forever because we were all starving.
There were 7 of us so it took a while for us to be seated so as we waited, we reviewed the menu to figure out what to order.
The owner (I think he was the owner?) was awesome. He kept checking up on us to make sure we were okay while we waited. The family that was occupying the table he wanted to sit us at was taking a little longer than he had expected. He mentioned inn a jokingly matter that if we all went inside and stared at them, perhaps they would leave quicker. That was funny. I actually went inside to do that but no one else followed.
When we were finally seated, I had the opportunity to try the:
Breakfast burrito with no peppers and a side bacon
Cinnamon roll
French toast
Chicken fried steak
Julie was our server and she kept my coffee mug full. Everything was delicious. The cinnamon roll was sweet but not too sweet. It had the perfect amount of cinnamon and it was soft and warm.
The bacon was thick and crispy yet a bit chewy. It was not greasy at all.
The breakfast burrito was filling but it could have used more sausage in it to balance out the potatoes. It was served was fresh home made salsa which was a nice touch.
The chicken fried steak was also tasty. Not too heavily battered or oily and it went great with the gravy.
The french toast was a nice finish to breakfast. My only complaint would have been the breakfast burrito. It was rather skimpy and not balanced out with the meat vs carbs ratio but since customer service was awesome that day, I will give this place 5 stars!
