| - This is one of my favourite malls in Ontario. With its constant renovation and new luxury stores, this mall is far from dated. It's a near miracle as the mall existed before the 80s.
It competes with the likes of Yorkdale for luxury. This isn't your average mall! With Holt Renfrew, Williams Sonoma, le Creuset, Pottery Barn, sporting life, Ron White, Michael Kors, Tiffany's, and soon to be NORDSTROM!! , this is definitely a high end mall. The place is spotless with wide open hallways. Though it is a busy mall, it never feels hurried or chaotic. Perhaps it's the nice leather couches that is laid out everywhere or that the architect is more warm and inviting instead of loud and amusement park like. I really think the mall is well laid out as it has no dead ends and it's never difficult to find your way around.
Getting here is very easy as it connects directly to the 427. The off ramp is a nice wide 3 lanes into the parking area. Also, getting back onto the highway is equally easy. It's possibly the best mall layout for parking and driving around.
As I mentioned, store selection is high end but its far from stuffy. Everyone is far more personable here compared to Yorkdale and they're more professional and informed compared to Square 1. I love Holts, BR,CM, Sephora, Williams Sonoma, Gap kids,Lego store, and even the Bay here. I even find the baristas here better than other malls. Second Cup isn't so bad!
They also do a farmers market here and it's great. I love Monforte creamery for their cheese! It's so delicious!
Even during the holiday season, this place isn't super crazy. Perhaps the mall is better and well laid out so people don't go insane. Or perhaps it's the service? Either way, this mall is great and I recommend it for anyone!
