  • My family and I dined last night for restaurant week 07-22-15. We had reservations for 630 and were not seated until 645. A little annoying but not a big deal. While we were waiting outside the hostess gave us ice water and checked on our table which was very considerate. Atmosphere was great! Nice and open, floor to ceiling windows with a dining area on the main floor and upstairs. Very clean, organized, staff was welcoming and accommodating. The bread and whipped butter was amazing. I would have liked it pre sliced instead of whole. That way your party won't have to put their hands all over the loaf. Cutting the soft warm bread was a challenge with a butter knife that was not sharp enough causing the the bread to flatten and compact. My wife, daughter and I ordered the filet mignon medium rare with Ceasar salad and cheesecake or bread pudding for dessert. We did not care to much for the Ceasar salad. It had a slight bitter taste taste to it but was not horrible. Our filets were cooked and seasoned perfectly! The filet was extremely tender and in my top five of best filets. The mashed potatoes were slightly lumpy not the worst I have ever had and a little to much pepper. I recommend asked your waiter/waitress to hold the pepper on the potatoes and add pepper yourself. As far as the filets, they nailed it perfectly. For desert, my wife ordered cheesecake and my daughter and I ordered the bread pudding. Many posts on yelp say the bread pudding is amazing. This is the first time I ever had bread pudding and my daughter and I did not care for it. So I would say it's a personal preference. I did not order cheesecake because I'm one of the rare few people on the planet who does not enjoy cheesecake. I tried my wife's cheesecake and I was blown away. BEST CHEESECAKE I HAVE EVER HAD! The cake was not rich and tasted creamy like a very heavy whipped cream. Regular menu prices were pretty expensive. Unfortunately it's a place I would not attend on a regular basis and only special occasions but they are a good bet. I did feel a little rushed by our waitress maybe because it was restaurant week and they were a little busier than normal. Check was delivered before I was finished with dessert and bread was taken away toward the end of our entree without being asked if we were finished. Overall, I was very satisfied with their hospitality and the quality of the meat. I would recommend them and I go would back.
