Times have changed and you can see it at the show. I have been going to these shows since I was a child. This was the best way at time to buy ammo and certain firearms at one time. Some stuff was just not available at local shops. Plus there was no internet sales like now.
This weekends show has shown how much times have change. When I was a kid there were gun dealers, ammo distributors and private sales people. You had the occasional gimmick product or trend too. Now there are some gun vendors, but seems to be mostly junk / garbage tables, gimmick vendors and gimmick products too.
The only reason I attend anymore is to get a hands on feel of a firearm. I was here to see how a certain shotgun felt in my hand. I found one at a table got to see how it felt. I would never purchase a firearm here. You can find better deals at local shops. They have some deals on ammo, but so do local shops also.
People watching is fun here too. The tacticool people over the last few years are awesome to watch. I remember years ago. There was a man in a trench coat, with a staff that had probably a amethyst stone and weird long hair. He had a pale skinny man on tow with a leash. That was funny. You can see all kinds. The tacticool people take the cake now.
