  • On our day trip of exploring the lovely city of Toronto-- our City Pass allowed us entrance into the Royal Ontario Museum. Since we only had a day to explore the city, we took about 2 hours to explore this museum. We started on the top level and explored the kids play area and dino zone. There were a few museum workers that helped explain to my daughter what she was excavating and finding in the dirt- which I thought was a really cool activity. Also in the kids area they have clothes and armor from the olden days for kids to try on and play with. Next we roamed into the dinosaur area and looked at the reconstructed bones. After the dinosaurs we roamed into the areas of different civilizations. The kids area and the dinosaur area were pretty cool, but none of the other areas really impressed me. This was a cool one time visit for our family but I have seen other Natural History Museums that were more interesting.
