My biggest complaint would be of the Manager Darryl. Worthless! Our issue occurred during check in. My sister is a PD dialysis patient. What that consists of is manually performing 4-5 fill-and-drain exchanges of liquid medication per day. Medication for traveling long distance must be shipped on site. Prior to making reservations we made all the arrangements for having her medication shipped to Ballys. Everything was set, we called a couple times to ensure packages had arrived and were assured everything had been received. They even told us that they had received medication for dialysis patients in the past. When checking in we were told that the shipping department is open from 7AM-7PM (we arrived at 9PM) and they couldn't retrieve the packages since shipping dept was closed. We explained to the clerk that her medication could not wait until 7AM and that it would have been nice to know that the shipping department closed at a certain time. The clerk called her manager DARRYL to see if he could help. We then explained the whole situation to the manager, he proceeded to tell us that the shipping dept was closed and the actual department is located at Paris Casino right next door and that he could not do anything for us. I kept telling the manager that she needs her medication as soon as possible. We told him it can be life threatening if she waits too long without it. The manager with no regard proceeds to tell us that he cannot do anything about it and that she should have brought her own medication with her. We told him that her medication isn't a pill of some sort to simply throw in a bag, they are liquids that cannot be taken on a plane and must be shipped. The manager proceeded to argue with me back and forth as if he did not care nor tried to find a resolution. What kind of a manager argues with a customer!??? Especially when the circumstances are life threatening. Eventually the clerk that checked us in decided to give us the contact number for Paris Casino and told us to call them to see if they could help in anyway. We ended up walking over to Paris casino, explained the situation, with no hesitation their clerk called security over to retrieve the packages. Thank god! I could not believe how lazy, rude and unhelpful Bally's manager Darryl was!? DOUCHE BAG! Ruined the beginning of our trip. When all he had to do is make a call or walk over to Paris Casino. A**H*LE!
Rooms - We had 5 groups with us. The clerk was able to give us all rooms on the same floor which was convenient. 2/5 rooms had great views of the LINQ's High Roller Ferris wheel. 4/5 rooms had a wet carpet smell to it. We had to buy our own water to brush our teeth, the water had a nasty sewer smell to it. Wish they had a microwave.
Does anyone know where I can call Ballys corporate office about their manager?
Thanks
