  • I am an avid deal finder. I go to many thrift shops, clearance racks at stores, etc. I was in the area today and have always wanted to drop in and see what all the fuss is about. On a Wednesday at 11am the store was packed and chaotic! I thought since it was during the week and early in the day the store would be calm and I would have a chance to really look around. Fat chance! People pushing and shoving through the shoe area. The staff were bringing more dresses out and the women just hoard around them. So this was my impression.. 1. Deals are not that great and the variety is lacking. I look in all sizes because I like to shop for my family and I noticed it was all the same styles just in different sizes (this includes shoes!) Also, most of the merchandise is either old, damaged, and used. These damaged products are still being sold for high amounts. It's ridiculous! A pair of beat up, stained and ripped Cole haan shoes were 60.00! What a ripoff! 2. The Store is not setup great. It looks really big but the setup is horrible. The shoe area definitely needs a remodel. There are literally racks of shoes lined up with maybe 4 feet between them and if you come across women with the wheeled basket or God for bid a cart you are screwed because there is no way around them. There is one very small area to try on shoes. This includes a couple benches and mirrors. With the amount of shoes they have this area is not sufficient space. People are cramming in to see their foot in the mirror. 3. Staff. The staff are not friendly! I don't blame them with all the craziness they deal with. I'm sure they get a nice discount and the first pick of items when they come in. If their not getting perks than maybe that's the reason they hate the job... 4. Location! The place is in a dungeon! Ok, it's a basement but it feels like your a prisoner. Also there is no cell service so don't even think about looking up if your getting a good deal or not. It's also dirty! Merchandise thrown everywhere and dusty. 5. Claustrophobic. Do not go to this store if you are claustrophobic or have social anxiety. These people have no sense of personal space and will run into you and watch you decide if you want those prada shoes because they had their eye on them. Like I said it was Wednesday at 11am and this place was packed! So can you imagine the weekend?! I would not go back to this store. It's not my scene and most of the merch is damaged so the deals are t great. Just wait for a clear the rack sale at the rack!
