The coffee bar formerly known as Open Da Night (although you can still find die-hards around that continue to call it by that name, or variations upon it, like "Open D"), has lost some of its former ramshackle charm to renovations (they survived a devastating fire), and their prices have crept up steadily over the years (their lattes were still just $1.50 a few years ago), but they still make one of the most satisfying old-school lattes in town and the ambiance can be pure theater at times (actually, pretty much all the time).
