  • I purchased my first Bergstrom Originals item 6 years ago. It was a skirt. Great cutting and design, beautifully (and locally) made and every time I wear it I get a compliment. That's why over the years, I keep going back. Not only are the clothes fun and elegant, but they are also very practical (many machine washable pieces, hidden pockets, ...) so I can wear them at work, to go out and also just to relax. I am in love with my Shanghai sunset tunic/sweater, and my Mrs Robinson wrap dress makes me feel great and never wrinkles or shifts out of place! I have since "converted" many a coworker to Bergstrom Originals! Price is reasonable given the quality and versatility of the clothes. And I like how things are made here in Toronto. Boutique is gorgeous and with the awesome staff and nearby neighbourhood, going shopping there is one of my favourite things to do. Update 2013: All my bergstrom originals purchases to date (skirts, suits, dresses, sweaters) still get lots of compliments and even the few that have ended up in the washing machine and dryer (oops!) have come out just fine.
