My mother recently had back surgery done here. The surgery went well and they moved her to recovery. And she sat there for SEVEN AND A HALF hours waiting on room. They told us at one point the room was being cleaned, came back an hour later to check on my mom and they said it was a shift change that would be done in thirty minutes. We can back about forty minutes later and they said they were just now cleaning the room, are you serious? Ridiculous. We finally get her to a room after my poor step dads been at the hospital since 430 am and it's 8 pm. My moms home and they screwed up her prescriptions so we are dealing with that. They told her they would give her a commode and of course they didn't. Surgery is stressful enough without all this. The nurses were nice but seemed like they didn't really care that people had been waiting for rooms for hours.
Maybe they don't have enough nurses and the poor nurses are worked too death. Wouldn't surprise me.
My coworkers husband had a back surgery here last year and had the same experience. Get it together guys.
