These apartments are not the best, but the new management is definitely trying. The location and price are also fairly nice.
They are doing a lot of construction. This is frustrating because they've been doing it for months and they have just stopped notifying us about work on our buildings. I am confident that the changes will be really nice, it is just extremely invasive in the meantime.
The staff is always very nice! I've gone into the office with a sour attitude on multiple occasions and they are always wonderful and apologetic.
The structural integrity of the buildings are questionable. The walls are paper-thin, I know this is to be expected with apartments but these are exceptionally bad. If I am sitting in my "bedroom" area and people are talking outside my apartment with all the doors and windows shut, I can hear their conversations word for word as if they were standing in my studio.
I have the "one bedroom" which is essentially a larger studio with a divider but no door to make it an actual bedroom.
My apartment is also infested with roaches, thankfully they biggest ones are quarter sized, but it is still unacceptable. I have gotten my apartment sprayed twice and it hasn't even slightly helped the problem.
My appliances are slowly breaking (if they haven't already). They have remodeled most of the empty apartments. So I think those will be much better.
So if you want to move here wait a few months until they are done with a majority of the construction and insist on getting a renovated apartment. I'm not sure if the renovations will do anything to curb it roach infestation though.
