  • I called Home Depot to set up a water heater estimate. Delta Mechanical returned my call and an appointment was set up. Delta Mechanical asked for a credit card in order to set up the estimate. Reluctantly, I gave them the information. Later, after reading reviews about Delta Mechanical online, I called and cancelled the estimate. The estimate was to be done the next day. The next day, their installer called and asked for directions to the house. I cancelled the appointment with him. A FEW DAYS LATER A CHARGE FOR ALMOST $1500 APPEARED ON MY DEBIT CARD!!!!!!! While Delta Mechanical swears that this isn't fraud, because they write every estimate up as an install in their system, it is a terrible way to do business. Why Home Depot would choose to sub out work to a company like this is beyond me. BEWARE OF DELTA MECHANICAL!!!!
