| - Soooooo... I've been on a Yelping kick today and I decided to review all the smoke shops since I've been to almost all of them. I go to start with Smokes, my preferred for vape juice, and see that it has only one star. Confused, I look into it and check all the previous reviews. I'm not really sure what happened, but it looks like some one got people to spam this page with good reviews. For some reason everything else got filtered though? Not really sure about all that, but I'm going to post a review and hope Yelp doesn't filter it.
So back before the whole vape thing hit mainstream, I used to come here for shisha. I went around the time they first opened and have watched them grow. When I first went in, I was hooked because of the shisha variety. I hadn't come across any other store with such a great selection. I certainly hadn't come across any place that stocked fresh pumpkin spice shisha. Since the store was new the owner was working. My boyfriend and I chatted with him and he seemed pretty nice. I don't think I've had any interactions with him other than checking out since.
Some where along the way the vaping scene started getting bigger. I purchased disposable e-cigs from here for a long time before investing in a nice one. Again, Smokes always had the best selection and kept my business. I didn't buy them too often, but every time I went to progress night at State Street Brats I would stop here first. When I went to invest in a rechargeable one, I did a bit of research. Then my boyfriend and I came in here to ask some questions and potentially buy one. I have no idea who it was, but the person working the counter wasn't very nice and had a lot of conflicting information from what I had read up on. My boyfriend and I bought a tank and a bottle of juice, but that was it. We purchased the rest online.
Fast forward months and they've become my favorite place for juice. They're just way better than any place else. I honestly feel like most of their juice is better than most Vapor Chef juices. After my boyfriend came home one day with a new flavor and tales of talking to the very, very nice juice guy we agreed that Smokes on State would be pretty much the only place we buy from.
Every interest I take in smoking, Smokes on State just always ends up being the best. The place is clean, well lit, and has a great atmosphere. Four star instead of five star because of the occasional rude employee.
