EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED AND EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED! In February of this year 2017 I went by this dealership to look at an 2005 Xterra only 48k miles on it! Prior to purchase I spoke to the sales Rep and asked if there were any Recalls on his vehicle or if it had been in a wreck. He assured me that in fact it did not! So now here we are September 2017 and I find there are some issues with the Fuel Sensor Gauge come to find out this is a KNOWN issue! After some research I found there has actually been 3 Recalls on this vehicle and 1 is currently open! 2 have been closed & fixed. So I call Nissan to discuss the current issue I'm having they tell me nope there's noting hey can do about the fuel sensor and I will have to take it to get fixed myself!? What the!? Thank God I didn't walk off that Lot without the Extended warranty! I called The Lot where I bought it talked to he service department and talked to Patty she tells me here's NO open Recalls on my Vehicle (lies, already told by Nissan customer service there is and printed the recall info with my VIN). Now I find out that there are complaints filed for the faulty Radiator & Transmission! When you go to a car Lot and buy a car and you sit and EXPLAIN that this is going to be a FAMILY vehicle and you are flat out LIED TO by the sales rep you question the companies intentions! I dropped money on this vehicle and really all they wanted was a SALE they don't care about the customer, they don't care about the danger they are putting the customer and family in! They just want their commission check! Now I'm stuck with a financed vehicle that is going to shit out on me! I still have amazingly low mileage on it, thank heaven but this is what I have to look forward to!? I'm taking my vehicle in to get the things repaired covered by warranty. I made my appointment at the Auto-nation Nissan in Chandler because at least they were honest and told me YES you have an open recall on your vehicle. Don't know hat I'm going to do after this but I will definitely be filing a complaint with the BBB. If your going to sell a vehicle at minimum fix all the Recalls and get them closed out before you let someone drive off the Lot! You can't tell me there wasn't one open because it's been open since 2010!
Though I found Recalls are left in a "Loop hole" when selling used cars, in 2016 AUTO NATION committed/vowed they would fix the Recalls prior to re-selling a vehicle! In this case they FAILED to do so. I will NEVER recommend any person buy a vehicle from an Auto Nation. There Actions speak louder than words.
Needless to say I will be contacting a lawyer for Vehicle Fraud. I will be pulling my own CarFax Report, and I will be contacting Nissan customer service to verify if the Vehicle I purchase was truly a Certified Used Vehicle. AutoNations supposed 125point inspection was useless!
