| - It has a certain charm, but everything in this place was obviously done on the cheap. The mini golf course is completely homemade - it will remind you of something that you and your buddies might have thrown together in a really large garage.
That said, they've done a good job with it. There are some clever artistic displays that are interesting to look at. The 3-D thing is cool for about five or six holes, then it becomes annoying and I had to take the glasses off.
Didn't get to play Laser Tag because my three year old son got scared as we entered the room and I had to skip it. Looked like it might be fun.
The video games are mostly old and beat up. The first two things we put our money into didn't work, so we accepted the .75 cent hit and decided to skip investing more money into these.
I understand that they plan to make some improvements to the facilities, so that should provide a boost. Food options would be nice, above the candy bars, bags of chips, and cans of pop.
All in all, however, it's not a bad place to take the kids to. The prices are reasonable and I like the idea of supporting a local venture that clearly isn't driven by corporate dollars.
This isn't Chuck E. Cheese, so just know what you are in for when you arrive.
