  • After 4 years in a property, a new management company in late 2016 took over and required their tenants to give them a "nonrefundable" cleaning deposit or face eviction if you did not sign the new lease. When I moved into this property, the carpets were filthy and there were multiple nails in the wall all over the place in every room. This was why the other management company did not charge the cleaning deposit. This new company came into town, we signed a new lease with them and were told we would get NONE of our deposits back that we had given to the former management company. They claim the other management company never gave them the deposits. Hmmmm!
