  • Was down there today, the girl in the basement was super nice but her manager was rude as hell and was yelling at her to get all the customers out several minutes before closing time. He also walked around and complained about the customers. Decent selection of comics (was happy to find some old Epic, Gold Key, and Conan comics) but terrible management. It's a real shame that the guy who works the basement has to perpetuate the stereotype of a nasty, condescending comic book store owner. Try going to Duncan's (run by a super helpful and friendly guy), Phantom of the Attic, New Dimension, South Side Comics, or just about any other shop in the greater Pittsburgh area and you'll be treated a whole hell of a lot better.
