rev:text	Adventurous comfort food. Is that an oxymoron? Well, go to Searsucker and decide for yourself. My advice, though, would be to take a good look at the menu first. You will either spot some unusual dishes that you are dying to try, or (like me) you will decide this just doesn't look like my cup of tea. I went here only because I was with a group that was staying at Caesar's and chose this restaurant. I was looking for something less adventurous than the crispy pig's ears and such. I might have ordered a burger, but the menu trumpets that they only make 20 of them per night. How pretentious! You might get one, or not. I prefer to do my gambling in the casino, so I ordered tomato soup, a Cobb salad, and also split a mac & cheese and an order of cornbread with my wife. The soup was okay; nothing special. The Cobb salad wasn't. I mean it wasn't a Cobb salad. Greens and bacon mostly, with a vinaigrette dressing - closer to a Spinach salad. The mac & cheese was very rich and quite good; I guess it's hard to mess up that dish unless you load it up with truffles, which (thank God) they didn't. The cornbread really should have been the complementary bread plate, but if they insist on charging five bucks for it - well, that's how it goes. My wife did like her brick chicken. Seersucker tries to brand itself as a comfortable party place. I didn't see it that way. It had a weird ambiance, with giant fish skeletons and pictures of roosters on the walls. The bar area was not comfortable, and the bar service was slow. I'm not going to comment on the dining room service because, as I said, we were with a group and it is entirely possible that someone in the group was slowing things down with a lot of questions and dithering. However, the place did seem to be understaffed. Well, at least the prices were reasonable (by Caesar's Palace standards).
