This place is busy on a Saturday night; an indication of a popular place to eat. We were hoping that the food would be the reason for groups of patrons waiting at the bar and outside the doors for a table. Thank goodness we made a reservation (highly recommend!), and the hostesses had us at our booth within 15 minutes of our reservation time.
Excellent ambiance in the restaurant was followed by fantastic service. We were also lucky that the grilled artichoke was on the menu. My vegetable adverse husband said he had never tasted anything so good.
I ordered the rotisserie chicken and mashed potatoes: they were excellent from the taste to the presentation. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because of my favourite rotisserie chicken at Casa Mingo in Madrid (sorry).
I cannot wait to eat thoepic mashed potatoes again, and we will definitely return to Bandera.
