  • This review comes from someone who was a guest at a wedding held there. My friends held their full wedding event at The Falls. I will first say that it is a beautiful new building and the wedding was just as beautiful and lovely as any I've ever been to. Now, why only two stars? There were only a couple of things I'd say negatively about the place, so I'll say the worst first... The bride (and groom) was one of the last to leave, around 9pm, still in her wedding dress, and was tasked by the female manager on duty to take out all of the trash and even "pick up that piece of paper there" as she pointed to the ground. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? Myself and one of the groomsmen swept through the building, pulling all of the trash bags out of the bins. It wasn't even like the place was wrecked, they just wanted the wedding party to clean every nook and cranny before they would sign off on the contract. This only took us another 15-20 minutes and I was happy to help my friends out, but I just cannot believe that a place who's primary income must come from hosting weddings would even dare think to ask a bride to take out the trash at her own wedding. The next thing I was disappointed with is the sound system in the main hall. They have a house speaker system which is OKAY at best, only for light ambient music, but when it came time for playing music to dance to, FAIL. Hire an independent sound system if you want to dance. Their video system was great and worked seamlessly. There is a nice LED light system in the main room which is infinitely adjustable, but the house lights are on some separate circuit and it was a chore to get them dimmed. The brides and grooms rooms respectively are great. Brides room is 1/5th the size of the groom's but still seemed adequate. The groom's room is actually a game room, with a nice assortment of furniture, pool table, small bar, retro arcade, etc. The mirror in the groom's room is small (especially when compared to the brides which is huge!), and they really should invest in a bigger one. The groom's room has a surround sound stereo and tv and they were quick to supply an aux cable so we could play music. Lastly, I'm not exactly sure who was responsible for hiring the two bartenders, who were fantastic throughout the day/evening, but at the end of the night, it appeared that they collected all of the leftover alcohol and took it home for themselves. Maybe that was in their contract, but it seemed highly unprofessional. Final thoughts... If you're considering this place for your event, know that it is a beautiful spot and I hope your event will be classy and memorable. Just be aware that the staff/management might insist you clean up after yourself unless you make sure that's part of your contract. Negotiate it beforehand! Good luck!
