  • I think I've finally found my church out here in Vegas. It's so difficult to find a church nowadays that teaches the Bible versus some shallow life style message that never mentions Jesus. I was pleasantly surprised to hear the pastor speak about how we come before the church when we commit ourselves to God. That's how the church is supposed to be, a place where we confess our sins and struggles and keep each other in check, while worshipping God. As Christians we are supposed to hold each other accountable. I like that and felt comfortable enough to put in a prayer request for my own temptations that I want accountability on. There is a definite mix of all ages at this church which is nice. It seems that there are also lots of families, which for me, as a single person, is nice because of the possibilities for mentors. I was also happy to see that elders in the church pray for people along with the elders' wives. I'm going to check out the midweek Bible studies before I go full 5 stars, but it's looking that way.
