  • Save yourself! Horrid availability. Almost all customers are youth who are in school and yet only ONE day per week afternoon/early evening hours (Tuesday). So kids HAVE to miss school in order to make an appointment. NO evenings; NO weekends; NO Fridays. McGill is very condescending both to me and my kid. The office is old and smells musty. They nickle and dime for everything. Seriously, even charge for a new rubber band bag. When I had braces you got a new bag every visit, it was part of the fee! Every visit you sit and wait, sometimes for almost two hours. I wish I'd selected a different orthodontist. This is what I get for trying to save a bit of money, certainly not enough to have made up for all the nonsense. Also, the kids are all in one big room with other kids and NO privacy. Which is a hoot since when I asked to be emailed an estimated end date the staff lied and said it was a HIPAA violation - which it is NOT - a single date has no relevance (part of my career requires a good understanding of HIPAA). You'd think staff at a medical office would understand the basics. All-in-all I am almost entirely dissatisfied.
