| - What a great concert venue!!!
After reading about how the main floor moves/bounces, knowing that the bands I was seeing would involve a lot of jumping, I instead chose tickets for the GA (general admission) balcony.
The acoustics are amazing, plus they put up 2 huge monitors with clear images of the band, so even though the view of the stage isn't bad from any seat in the venue, the monitors make you feel like you're right up close.
There are multiple bars set up as soon as you walk in, a few bars on the floor, and 2 bars on the second level. So, the lines are never too long. Prices are insane though. A patron margarita will run you $18, I believe a jack and coke was $16.
After standing for a few bands, we nicely asked an usher if we could sit in any of the empty seats directly in front of us, and they told us no because our GA tickets didn't qualify. Then a few songs later they handed us new tickets and we enjoyed our seats like the old people that we truly are. I sort of suspect that getting the 6" and 6'7" people out of the way of the rest of the crowd was part of their motive for giving us new seats, but regardless of why we got them... after walking many miles on the Vegas strip, my tired feet were appreciative!
