Elena does an outstanding job. If you get Elena your hair is gonna look awesome.
Most of the others do a decent job. You're safe in most hands.
But ... however ... uhmm ... yikes ... a few of them are truly not great at cutting hair.
I feel like a jerk admitting that. I'm not trying to be mean. It's 17$. Normally I just suck it up, give a good tip, and come back next month hoping for a better haircut. It's just hair.
I kept getting one of the 'less skilled' haircutters, time after time after time after time. I started popping my head in to see who was on shift, and each time, when the coast was clear, I'd line up just to find one of the not-so-great haircutters was in the back and whatdoyaknow they're free and it's my turn.
You can only take so many bad haircuts. I'd come home and my family would ask what happened. My wife would say "oh, you had X or Y or X again...why can't you ask for Elena?" The problem is that you don't get a chance to ask for your preferred hair cutter. Or at least not without looking like a meano.
This happened for a few years. Some of them were so bad that people at work even commented on my 'interesting' haircuts. When acquaintances are asking what happened, you gotta do something.
