The pies are actually the last reason I come here. Don't get me wrong, they're amazing - especially the Mincemeat (and this coming from a person who has never cared for Mincemeat before). But personally, I enjoy the their lunch (soup, sandwiches, pot pies) and breakfast (cinnamon buns) far more. Any excuse you can muster to wake up early and head out for one of their big, icing-covered, decadent cinnamon rolls will pay off HUGE dividends in the happiness of the rest of your day.
Friendly staff and a quaint/cozy atmosphere round out this near-perfect east-side bakery.
*Call ahead a week or two in advance of a holiday to order a pie as they get slammed around Thanksgiving and Christmas.
