My friend and I went here yesterday after a play. She suggested it because of the good reviews about their food. We are not big drinkers. I do enjoy a beer but am not a connoisseur or go out of my way to tried rare and normally not available beers and figured asking for a bud light in this place would not go down well so I passed on ordering beer at all. So perhaps we really should have gone somewhere else because the main point of this place seems to be the beer.
For starter ordered Savory Garlic Doughnuts. We were quite pleased with those. For my main I ordered the BBQ Bison Ribs. The description stated Orange Chipotle Glaze with Maple Bacon Baked Beans & Spiced Walnut. So when my ribs came with diced tomatoes & cilantro topping I was quick confused. I also didn't taste any Orange in the glaze. I had to scrape off the salsa like topping as I absolutely despise cilantro. Once I did that the ribs had not flavor at all. The baked beans were okay, but also had something odd in it whatever 'spice' used. I did not finish my meal as I didn't see the point in forcing myself to eat something terrible. Then to make things worse I had a horrible stomach ache about an hour later. My friend ordered The Burger and was also not pleased.
The service was also no very good. Server did seat us promptly and took our order. Then after giving us the food he was done. Did come by and ask how the meals were, if courtesy how are we doing. He stopped at the table behind us a couple of time but didn't even look our way. I had the call out to him to get a refill. He eventually came to clear our plates and didn't even inquire as to how we enjoyed them.
I will not be coming back. Bad food and bad service.
