  • Came here for a quick lunch since it was close to where I was for orientation. I was still kind of rushed since I wasn't expecting a sit-down meal, but I managed. Service was very friendly and I felt bad that I was on hold/on the phone during a good portion of my meal, but I had some necessary phone calls to make during my lunch break. The interior is not that big, but it was full and lively for lunch. I ordered the red beans and rice which also came with some coleslaw and toast, plus the crawpuppies. I don't think the crawpuppies were worth the money (at $5+ for four crawpuppies, that's over $1 per piece). The red beans and rice were delicious though! There is a parking lot around the corner and then it's a short walk to the restaurant's entrance. Lola's serves up some tasty cajun/creole fare, but nothing compares to the original in New Orleans!
