I took my mother, 2 sisters, and best friend to David's Bridal to search for bridesmaid dresses. I have never had a more awful experience! 3 front desk ladies greeted us as we walked in and acknowledged my appointment time for 3:30. That was about the only bright spot. They called someone up to the front and the lady immediately complained about wanting to take a break. They let her and so I was greeted by a different "stylist". This particular "stylist", I came to find out, was double booked. She had myself and another bride. I don't expect 100% of someone's attention, but once the bride from the other "party" arrived, I was completely ignored.
I needed my girls to try on dresses because I wanted to pick one and leave. I didn't want to be there all day, but I was ignorantly reprimanded when I tried to look for and pick out dresses myself. "We have to get them for you and return them ourselves. Otherwise, it causes too much commotion". Understood. BUT. When you're no where to be found, what's a girl to do. It was already nearing an hour and a half that I had been there and my girls had hardly tried anything on. I'm far from bridezilla, but I had to make the choice to get the dresses myself and forget that I even had a "stylist". The only thing she did that was helpful was show my girls to a dressing room at the beginning and then ordered the dresses at the end.
