I recently purchased a car that needed some work. The previous owner was a cigarette smoker and stoner. There was some oil based paint on both front seats along with a couple burn holes. I thought that it would be best to simply have all of the fabric replaced. My work hours did not permit me to come in for a visual inspection and quote so I took pictures on my cell phone and emailed them to the email address provided by the rep on the phone. They gave me a good quote after reviewing the pictures and email description of the work desired. I dropped the car off and left my keys in the over night slot on the side of the building. I received a phone call the next day and they explained how the fabric is glued to the foam cushions and this is a harder job than expected and the quote needed to be revised. I was a little bummed out. The lady said how she was able to work out some of the paint with one of their solvents and she had confidence that it could be removed. When I initially got my car detailed, the detail shop stated that oil based paints will not come out. I gave Duramend the green light to fix the burn marks also if the paint comes out. Well, when I came to pick up the car, it looked way better than expected, with all original fabrics. All of this for around 33% of the cost of the original quote. This was my final phase of the car's restoration and I couldn't be happier. I spoke at length with the gentleman who was working at around 7 pm when I picked it up. Overall, a great dude, great service and I give this place the highest recommendation that I can think of. If you need any car/furniture/boat reupholstery, look no further. An outstanding local business!
