As a self proclaimed pastry connoisseur and having lived in Paris this place is really NO big deal (not to sound snobby). I admit that the presentation is on point and is basically the same beautiful presentation as the top pastry shops in France. BUT the quality of the pastry itself is not the same. I only tried the tiramisu (which looks absolutely GORGEOUS) after much hype over Instagram. Extremely disappointing because it did not taste like tiramisu at all. I honestly did taste any coffee flavour. While the pastry was still good (good consistency for the mousse and I liked the use of rice for the bottom crust), it definitely is not something I would recommend or rave about to anyone else. Though again I am raving about the presentation - never seen such a beautifully marbled pastry before!
I'll probably come back and try the eclairs which seem to have several interesting flavours. Though I am hesitant to try the viennoiseries. I feel that after TONS of experience in this department haha I can tell if a viennoiserie is good or not just by the appearance (most of the time). The croissants look dry, not super flaky, and I think they won't be really layered on the inside. Of course I need to test it to be sure, so I guess I do need to make a trip back here and see for myself!
