We had a party of 7 and we waited around 20 mins which wasn't bad. I've wanted to try Lotus of Siam for a long time and it didn't fail me in anyway. We shared an appetizer of veggies with chili paste, seabass with drunken noodles, and Crispy duck with panang curry(coconut curry).
The veggies with chili paste was surprisingly good. The chili gave the veggies a lot of taste to it. the seabass was fried and we decided to combine it w/ the drunken noodles. I thought the seabass was very good as it was seasoned well, cooked perfectly, while the fish is not dry at all and the crispy skin made it awesome. However, I was probably the only one but I thought the noodles was a bit endante? kinda hard ? I felt like it wasn't soft enough or cook long enough for some reason and that threw me off just a little. It wasn't too big of an issue but it was my little thing that I had to criticize about it. Finally we have the crispy duck w/ panang curry. YOU have to make sure you get steam rice w/ this(order separately) or else you're not doing this dish justice. Have some rice, put the sauce on top, grab a crispy duck(which they cut for you) and my god it is wonderful. I never had "crispy duck" before but it was awesome.
Took out a star because I thought the dishes were kinda luke warm which is a bit disappointing and I also think it's overpriced especially for how much they give you(which isn't that much imo). I would definitely still recommend you guys to try Lotus of Siam because these unique dishes are wonderful and if you had to choose one dish to get here...make sure you get the crispy duck with panang curry!
