Reduced to: civil violation, a fine of 1157 dollars, driver education school (120 dollars)
I and my friends attended college in Houston and came to Grand Canyon for spring break. Being good citizens who have not even received parking tickets before, we girls were so scared to know that criminal speeding is a class 3 misdemeanor in Arizona and will appear permanently on record. With some research online I chose to give R&R Law Group a try. After 6 months, my case was reduced to civil violation with the fines unreduced. Note that I was detected to speed 108 mph, which is extremely high. Therefore, I am (anyone should be) really grateful and satisfied to get this result, as to clear the criminal record is the number one priority, for it will influence my career, and increase my insurance a lot.
The process is very stressful for obvious reasons (input of money, unknown and possibly negative results). After signing the contract with them, they appear less attentive. It was harder to set up a call with my lawyer; I had to constantly ask for updates through email, which would be replied in several days. The pretrial meetings span a long time range, and the progress was not made for a long time (~4 months). I was anxious and started to have doubts, but eventually they resolved my case.
In retrospect, they would notify me on time when there are updates, and would not like to chat a lot when there were no updates, which would add to your anxiety, but makes a lot of sense, considering that they deal with hundreds of such cases each month. They ARE working hard and taking care of your case, so all you need to do is to trust them and hope for the best.
Mr. Richard Rathke was my original attorney, and later Mr. Jushin Gill took my case. Both of them are very helpful and professional. Jennifer followed up with me with the driver education school after the case was officially resolved, reminding me the dealines all along by email, which I appreciate a lot.
