| - Let me add this to the pages and pages of bad reviews. The first time we had an early breakfast at Bouchon, the place was empty, so the service and food were lovely. As an invited guest of the hotel, I returned 6 months later for brunch there and HELLO? What happened??
A very rude waiter took our order of latte's, cheese & spinach omelettes and a waffle. After 20 minutes, we asked for our coffees. Our waiter ignored us and we asked another waiter to bring them and they were cold. No waiter to be found to ask for hot, a busboy finally warmed them up with some regular coffee. After being there for an hour, the waiter finally brought the omelettes. Cold...and filled with slimy, watery tomatoes..who ordered tomatoes? Not us! Shouldn't someone have warned us that there were tomatoes in it? We wanted to send them back, but, to no surprise, no waiter. The waffle was cold too, but after waiting nearly an hour for our food, we were very hungry and ate the cold waffle.
The waiter NEVER came around to ask if everything was alright and plopped down the bill for $60 then ran off.
I complained to the man in front who said "Oh, I'm sorry." That's all.
As I had charged the terrible meal to my hotel room, I told Palazzo that I felt ripped off when we checked out, and they told me that they had nothing to do with Bouchon. When I got home, I wrote Thomas Keller's company who sent a form email that they would get back to me, but, they never did.
Shame on you Thomas Keller! I'm done with Bouchon and Palazzo!
