  • Not staying here by choice. One flight cancelled, missed the connection by 5 minutes and airline gave me a coupon for a hotel overnight. There is a vague smell of urine in some of the walkways. The room they put me in was clearly not properly cleaned. It looked fine initially. I flushed a tissue in the toilet and when I returned to the bathroom a while later I looked down and something had backed up in the toilet. I am honestly not sure what it is. It looks a little like a Dixie cup with something in it, and a second thing that looks a little like a toilet paper tube with something wrapped around it, or maybe a piece of rawhide dog chew. I really don't know. Because of my late arrival, it was after 12.30 when I discovered this. No option to have someone come clean the toilet, so I had to trek to the lobby (in my Jammie's) and get a key to another room so I could have a properly functioning toilet. New room, clean. Toilet flushes and does not back anything up (so far). Clock was unplugged and so needed setting. It is quiet, though the front desk guy did tell me the entire section on one floor was currently without power! Oh, and it takes 2 remotes to turn on the tv, and it comes on at a super loud volume, so when I got to the new room and turned it on, it was blaring loud and the neither remote's volume buttons seemed to be working so I had to just turn it off. Anyway, this second room is at least clean and the bathroom functional.
