  • "Gimme Gimme more" Brit! and "you better work B#tch!" That's how I feel in a nutshell after watching her performance. It makes me sad to review this at such a low rating but it's truly how I feel. This was the worst concert I've been to by a big name performer. Where do I even start? Lip singing- didn't think it would bother me. Well, it did. It felt like I had the tv turned on to some concert and I wanted to change the channel. I felt as part of the audience very disconnected. She didn't involve the audience or get them pumped up. The flow to the performance was choppy and there was no flow. It all felt random and not much interaction with the audience except for one time. There was a stage that was a half moon shape connected to the main part of the stage. We paid 2x the price of the cheaper tickets to sit up close to see her closer. But did we? No! Why? Because she never used that half moon part of the stage. She would march up and down it every once in a while, but by the time I tried to take a picture she was walking the other way! It was that quick. Not to compare but I saw NKOTB perform here and wow what a difference!!! They went into the audience, stood up on top of ledges in various parts of the audience and sang an entire song. They did this for 2 songs! Boys 2 men didn't go into the audience but talked to us and interacted- told us about themselves and it just felt like they were appreciative for us being there. Back to Britney, she didn't seem to appreciate her fans and give them anything! She couldn't sing for us, and now the worst part was she couldn't dance! I expect for the money I paid for a ticket to be entertained! If it's not with your singing then it better be with your dancing! Not Brit. She marches on one side of the stage to the other. Her back up dancers are high energy and moving way more than her. Britney looks dead like she didn't get enough sleep and she's bored. Her moves seemed robotic and boring. Arm movements mainly and climb on a chair climb off. Bored, lethargic. More arm movements. Arm up arm down. That's the extent of it. Get this over with attitude is the vibe I was getting from her. Ok on to the audience. I felt glued to my chair. Nobody was standing!!! I once got up to let someone out of our aisle and the lady behind me was annoyed and rolling her eyes. Why do you go to a Britney concert and want to sit in your chair???! I wanted to stand so badly but I would be the only one. Come on people, have some fun!! The people to the left of me (entire section) looked like zombies. I got a cheap thrill looking at their facial expressions. They looked bored to tears and expressionless. Nobody seemed like they were having fun and that brought down the energy for me. I don't know if that section to the left of me was comp'ed or why they seemed so uninterested. No offense but I saw lots of older people that didn't appear to be fans. Maybe I was in the reject section. Maybe they got free tickets or something but it looked like they meant to watch the Celine Dion concert. Everyone just sitting three nobody singing along or having any fun! The only positive was her stage and costumes, a couple scenes were cool. But I didn't come for that! Britney you need to take the lyrics to your song and "work B#tch." Give your fans something for the high ticket price. I've liked you since the beginning and all the anticipation for years wanting to see you I finally did and wish I didn't. My image changed of you and not in a good way.
