  • I don't like most uptown bars, but Connolly's is an exception. It's just a fun Irish pub. Because of this it has more character than some of the trashy uptown bars. I like the brick walls and ambiance of the second floor. They seem to be always be watching a soccer match there, and their patio is really nice on warm days. The bar is also a big player in the Charlotte Irish Summer Festival.
