Came here randomly on a Wednesday after work. We were the first ones in the restaurant and the server (owner?) was very nice and attentive. They have a bruschetta and ravioli of the day. All the pastas are homemade and the ambiance is intimate. Also, the place smells like garlic (or at least it did when we went). That's always a good sign at an Italian restaurant in my book.
The restaurant is BYOB and if you don't have your own bottle you're offered complimentary wine. I'm not sure if the wine selection changes but we were offered a chianti and pinot grigio. Very tasty.
The garden salad and Caesar salad were decent. Nothing to write home about. We tried the bruschetta of the day which was mushroom. Again, very tasty.
For the entrees I had the spaghetti and meatball. I was anxious to try their special red sauce. Unfortunately it tasted pretty generic. Nothing I would come back for. My girlfriend had the gnocchi which tasted a little too potato-y. It was decent but there's better on the next block at Girasole.
The best thing was the fresh Italian bread with olive oil for dipping. Then again, I don't think I'd come back unless I knew someone that really wanted to go. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't great either.
