  • My daughter and I went in yesterday for pedicures. We chose the location because it was only minutes from my home. We were greeted immediately by a very nice girl who led us to our chairs and started our feet soaking in (very) hot water. While we waited for an available employee, the owner Vivi was very kind and asked us if we wanted any water. Soon after, a woman came over to start on my daughter, followed closely after by my tech named Danny. I did not see the name on the tag for my daughter's tech. First, let me get out of the way that my guy Danny was VERY good, he did his job and I have no complaints. I wish I could say the same about the tech helping my daughter. First of all, we both chose the basic pedicure for $25. The next one up was their Pamper Pedicure for $35. My daughter's tech said to her right after sitting down, "You sure you don't want the pamper pedicure? You've got LOTS of callouses girlfriend!" (WHAT?!?!?) My daughter politely declined. Then a few minutes later, she said "When was the last time you had a pedicure?" My daughter stated it had been awhile. The tech said "You have to have it done every 3-4 weeks!" My daughter just looked at me in astonishment. Then a bit later, she criticized the nail color my daughter had picked out. She chose a pale pinkish neutral color. The tech complained that it wouldn't show up because it was so light. My daughter reiterated that she liked that color. During her very brief leg massage, she complained that my daughter was "very tense" (Ya think?). She also tried to "scrub off" a scar she had on her right leg, not realizing it was, in fact, an actual scar. She also asked one final time before painting her toenails if my daughter was "really sure" she wanted THAT color.Additionally, what REALLY pissed me off was she seemed to enjoy insulting the customers in her native language with the other technicians. After we were both done and drying at another station, she came over and stated it would be $50. I was upset because I wanted to leave a good tip for Danny and NOTHING for her tech, but my daughter ultimately left a 15% tip. Finally, as my daughter was signing the credit slip, the tech was looming over her watching her every move. Final impression- The shop was nice, Vivi, Danny and everyone else was very nice. The female tech who did my daughter's pedicure needs some SERIOUS re-training in customer service. She was rude, disrespectful, and her comments were out of line. Her pedicure skills were lacking as well. As a result, we will never go back there and that's a shame for the hard working people who are there.
