  • I really like the gym. But I continue to be irritated by the ongoing scam at the Juice Bar in their lobby. On the menu, it clearly states that smoothies, such as the Berry Me & the Skinny Acai, are $5.55. And for that price, it states that these smoothies come with 20 grams of protein. But everytime a smoothie is ordered, they add an extra .25 cents. When you ask them what the charge is for, they tell you that it's the charge for the protein. Even though their menu states that the protein is included in the $5.55 price. Most members, including myself, have just let it go. It's a small amount, and one dosen't want to be known around the club as someone who got somebody in trouble. But this small extra charge adds up to an extra $300-400 per day that this place is picketing daily. That's about $10,000 a month that this place is stealing from LVAC members. And yes, that is the correct word. Stealing. It would be like you coming into my business, and you get charged a slightly higher price than what is being shown on the menu. I have brought this to the attention of LVAC management, and they just blow it off, saying that they can't do anything about it.
