What a wonderful little place. We came here for an early dinner in the middle of the week and I was admittedly a little skeptical at first.
Walking in, the atmosphere and the decor was very good. It made me feel like I had entered someplace local; not a chain Mexican place that was also trying to be a bar.
When we received the menus, I was disappointed that there weren't lengua tacos or tamales (my go-tos) but I was surprised by how tasty their complementary chips and salsas were, so I asked our waitress for a recommendation.
She recommended the lamb and it turned out to be really good. My girlfriend also enjoyed her meal, which were the chicken enchiladas with salsa verde.
The one drawback was that their horchata was a little small for the price, and they didn't refill our chips (just an oversight, I think, since I saw the waitress refilling others). Not a world-changer but still a pleasant experience!
