| - I was pretty aggravated by a recent visit to East Charlotte Nissan. I was helping my son purchase a vehicle. We saw one online that looked like a good fit, so we went over to check it out. When we arrived there was a nice lady at the front who asked if we had an appointment. No. So, she called for a salesman. A few minutes later the salesman arrived. He asked us to come back to his office. We sat, and told him why we were there. He said that vehicle was already sold, but perhaps he could help us with something else. We told him what we were looking for. Then he started suggesting, have you considered a Titan, or a Frontier. Do you have one on the lot in our price range? Well, no. ok, then why did you suggest that? Then he wanted our drivers license, he wanted to put all our information into this system, etc. I told him, if you have a car that you think meets our criteria, then show it to us, we don't want to spend a great deal of time providing a lot of personal information. He said, "well, we have to collect this anyway before you purchase". Yes, I understand that, but once I decide to purchase its fine, otherwise, I don't have all day to spend on that. He said it would only take a few minutes. I told him, we will leave now if you can't show us a vehicle in our price range. He still made no moves to do that, but just kept talking. So, I told him good bye. Then he started in, no wait, let me get my manager, etc. I just walked out with him calling to me to come back. I wouldn't go back here if they gave me a car. I next went to Town and Country Ford and Carmax to look and had a completely different experience. Both those establishments treated me fine.
