  • Where do I begin? Oh yeah, my 1 night stay in Buffalo at The Red Roof Inn was a nicer & cleaner room than the one we stayed in at Metropolitan Hotel. Met: Dirty dingy hallway carpets to room. Doors, furniture, decor dated and very nicked, scratched. Zenith tube TV. Pink vanity from 1960 in bathroom. No fridge or minibar. Dirty carpet in room. Filthy windows, I'm sure they have never been cleaned. Our room was in major need of a total renovation, way overdue. The parking garage was very sketchy, think of a TV murder movie scene. You could barley drive next to another car. All these yelp reviews that love this hotel have got to be from people who travel once every 15 years. NOTE: The nice room they show on their web page was NOT what our room looked like. When I talked to the hotel directly they told me the room I booked was recently renovated. It had absolutely not been touched in over 15 years.
