  • At the insistence of my mother, I purchased a groupon to take lessons for my upcoming wedding. I was dreading it as I've always been told I can't dance and that I'm not any good at it. I also saw the reviews for the studio and was worried. After our first visit, all my fears were alleviated. I found out that while I won't be on Dancing With the Stars anytime soon, I really enjoyed dancing and the staff at Arthur Murray in Monroeville are what helped to foster that. Our instructor is patient and encouraging and most of all, fun! The group classes ensure that you learn the basics in a comfortable setting and the parties and practice sessions offer a great opportunity to use what you just learned. The downside is that lessons/classes are expensive. I wish there were more budget friendly options to continue after the groupon. However, to not do the "hug and sway" at our wedding and to have fun on learning new dances since then, it was totally worth it.
