  • Has no one else been left hanging to dry with Polka Dot Bake Shop closing? We had a contract with them (signed back in September 2016) for our wedding cake and cupcakes this coming June 2017. We paid them a deposit and scheduled everything for our special event. You can imagine our surprise when we stopped in this past Saturday to grab a few cupcakes for dessert, only to find that it was PERMANENTLY CLOSED?!?!?! Apparently they've been closed for about two months now... We have received no information about this and now cannot reach anyone associated with the company. We've tried calling them, emailing (only for the email to be returned) and the website is even gone. Had we not stopped in for a sweet treat, we may never have known about this company's lack of communication and pocketing of our deposit before our wedding day! HORRIBLE
