We just checked out from a 3-night stay and have stayed here for a long weekend for the last three years. The staff is always helpful and this time went the extra mile when I booked the wrong room type. I didn't realize a two-bedroom loft was different from a 2-bedroom suite. They were the same price but the loft had a Murphy bed. They couldn't move us the first night but did put us in a new room the second two nights.
Our son's stuffed teddy bear went missing after we switched rooms and we reported it to the front desk the next morning. By the time we returned in the afternoon, the bear was back with a sweet note from Lillian, the operations manager, who described how teddy was helping out the housekeeper, had a bath and a snack with water (jelly beans and a bottle of water accompanied him in a cellophane wrapped package).
That made my son's day as we had just gotten the bear from our trip to Victoria BC in July and he was sad to have lost it. It was left in his bedsheets and got washed with them.
The parking gate cards (or reader) are spotty, so just ask for extra keys and they work after a few tries. The property could use some sprucing up and they do run short on pool towels so check when you get to the pool and ask for some and they will refill them to while you are swimming.
