  • I'd heard legends about Jack Frost Donuts but thought, 'they're donuts how special could they be?'. For anyone else thinking that same thing, erase that idea immediately! They say that we eat with our eyes then our mouths. Jack Frost makes beautiful looking donuts, pretty enough to adorn any party or buffet table. The big payoff to the donut is the taste, icing that melts in your mouth and a cake that is light, fluffy and delicious. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that these donuts can change your life, but these donuts WILL change your ideas about donuts. I've never seen donut flavor combinations like they have before, they are more like flavors you'd see in a full-size cake. Cassata donut (Cleveland style), Chocolate Decadence and my absolute favorite German Chocolate (just like mom use to make using the recipe from the Baker's Chocolate wrapper). I'm an east-sider and the trek to Jack's on a Sunday morning is about 20 minutes one way. For me on those mornings I make the trip it's the best 40 minute round trip of my weekend.
